Cork Flooring

The flooring was made for the musicians.
The musicians have special needs in terms of flooring in their homes, especially if they live in an apartment or other dwelling unit where several neighbours could be on the other side of a thin wall. In practice the most effective at home, the musicians must have the right acoustics, as well as insulation to protect them from angry neighbors. Carpet has been used by many, but cork flooring could provide a more attractive and long-term solution.

Cork and floor insulation

Cork floor is made from the bark of the tree of the Mediterranean, Quercus suber. All nine or ten years, the bark is harvested on trees carefully cultivated for this purpose in the forests in this region. The bark is used to make bottle stoppers, and cork flooring.

A warm honey tone of a natural material is easy to install and lasts for as long as most of the flooring hardwood, especially with a protective finish. Cork floor is sustainable, profitable and attractive. It is especially suited to those seeking a soil material beautiful as flooring or hardwood bamboo, but with a sound insulation and benefits of the carpet.
